Office Safety

Mountainside Medical Group resumed seeing non-COVID-19 patients in the office on June 1. You can feel safe in our care as we reopened with heightened safety guidelines for your protection.

We understand you may be hesitant to seek in-person care, but please know we are prepared by taking the following actions:

Cleaning Protocols
  • Exam rooms are cleaned between patients.
  • Waiting rooms, lobbies, restrooms and other areas with frequently-touched surfaces are continually cleaned and disinfected.
Screening Procedures
  • Patients are temperature checked and answer a screening questionnaire
  • Our team members participate in comprehensive screening on a daily basis.
Universal Masking &
Personal Protective Equipment
  • Everyone must wear a mask when in the office, including during examination, unless otherwise advised by your provider
  • Our team members are equipped with proper personal protective equipment.
Hand Hygiene and Prevention
  • Team members practice proper hand hygiene, including washing hands before and after examination.
  • Touchless hand sanitizers are available in the waiting rooms
Social/Physical Distancing
  • Social/physical distancing measures are in place in waiting areas. Any time you are in a waiting area, please refrain from sitting in blocked seats.
  • Floor markings indicating a safe distance are in place to help you and our teams stay safe.
  • Elevator use is limited to 3 occupants at a time.
Additional Precautions
  • Appointments are staggered to limit the number of people in the waiting room.
  • Call the office from your vehicle to inform us of your arrival. We will call you when you can come into the office.
  • When in the office, please put phones away to prevent cross contamination.
  • We encourage everyone to use a credit or debit card instead of cash to make payments.

Mountainside Medical Center MyChart

We encourage all our current and new patients to register for Mountainside Medical Center MyChart. This patient portal gives you access to your personal health information anytime on your computer or smart phone.
